Felicia was the strongest, peaking at 145 mph as a Category 4 hurricane. Landfall records exist for 5 of its storms, in Baja California Sur, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán and Sinaloa. More storms formed in August than in any other month of 2021: 5 of 19. Linda both lasted longest, 9.2 days as a tropical or subtropical system, and contributed the most energy, 27% of the season's ACE. Strongest landfall of each storm: Dolores reached Michoacán as a tropical storm on June 19; Nora reached Jalisco as a Category 1 hurricane on August 28; Olaf reached Baja California Sur as a Category 2 hurricane on September 10; Pamela reached Sinaloa as a Category 1 hurricane on October 13; Rick reached Guerrero as a Category 2 hurricane on October 25.
